Planning a Getaway Trip to the Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic is an inexpensive and incredibly beautiful place to visit that is a short flight from most major cities in the Southern part of the United States. However, before planning your getaway trip there, make sure you plan exactly what you are doing.
There are a number of amazing places to stay in the Dominican Republic, though they will vary in price. The resorts in Punta Cana on the eastern portion of the island will be the priciest, while others in areas like Cabarete, CA will be much more affordable and will be in a less touristy part of the island. Also, if traveling with family, it is important to find a place that is right for all of them in regards to layout and activities. Try to find a number of different things to do that are well reviewed online so that you are not scrambling for activities when you get there.
